KAREN NEW, NAIL TECHNICIAN - STAFF BIOS
Karen New is the owner of Spa Touch and we are lucky to have her talents and knowledge with us at SMS Salon. She is a member of the International Pedicure Association and is Creative Nail Design's certified Brisa Gel Master. She throughly loves to do all types of pedicures and offers a variety of 1, 2 or 3 hour pedicures.
In 2004, Karen was asked to speak about safety in salons for a story with the local CBS afflilate. WKMG Problem Solvers was researching a piece about pedicure whirlpool sanitation and the harmful and dangerous affects these units can undergo if they are not being tended to or properly cleaned. We are extremely proud of the efforts Karen has put forth in making us a healthy and sanitized environment, free of bacteria and other diseases.
Karen will continue to stay on top of the latest in healthy nail care and follow all the laws put forth by the Board of Cosmotology according to the State of Florida.
